Paul G. Allvin
Senior Vice President of Brand Advancement
Paul G. Allvin joined the senior staff team in 2015 as senior vice president of brand advancement. In this capacity, Allvin leads all marketing, communications, entertainment and sports industry partnerships and special events efforts for the USO. He also serves as the organization’s chief brand strategist.
Prior to joining the USO, Allvin worked at America’s Promise Alliance as its first-ever chief communications and knowledge officer, leading all communications and research efforts for the organization, which is dedicated to improving conditions for success for all young people in America, particularly those who grow up in challenging environments.
Before joining America’s Promise, Allvin was vice president of brand advancement for Make-A-Wish America, where he was chief brand strategist for the top 10 charity brand, leading all communications, marketing, digital strategy and entertainment and sports industry relations.
Earlier in his career, Allvin served as communications director to Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano and communications chief of The University of Arizona.
A native of Tucson, Arizona, Allvin holds a bachelor’s in journalism from The University of Arizona. He and his wife, Rhian Evans Allvin, have three children: Austin, Eli and Isabel.
